Run By The Sun are excited to be exhibiting our range of solar solutions at the Crick Boat Show once again. As the UK’s largest waterways festival, The Crick is a great three-day festival not just for boat enthusiasts but also families looking for a fun and memorable day out.
On the Crick Marina just north of Daventry in Northamptonshire, it is the boating community’s answer to Glastonbury - and in many ways rivalling it - with live music, plenty of food and drink as well as the opportunity to take advantage of free boat trips which run along the Grand Union Canal.
From Saturday 28th till Monday 30th May, the show hosts a number of exhibitors to showcase their relevant services from boat builders to gadgets and products all geared at making time spent on a boat on Britain’s canals a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. To get a flavour of what the show is all about, here is a video of last year's festival.
This will be our third year exhibiting at The Crick Boat Show and although as a business it is a relatively niche service, for boat owners it has become an increasingly important when looking to reduce the cost of running their boat on a day-to-day basis.
In our blog from last year, we talk about three solar products for boats on the market, including rigid frame solar panels, a semi-flexible solar panel and a Uni-Solar panel which is a photovoltaic laminate. There is very little to choose between them in terms of their capabilities – it really all boils down to preference and taste.
If you fancy popping along to The Crick Boat Show this year, do make sure to swing by Stand WW51 where we will be able to give you an insight into how solar could work on your boat, or if you prefer to be on more solid ground, your home or business.
